Welcome to the 2026 Imperial Youth Conference informational page. This year's theme: Imperial Youth All-Stars: Foundation of Excellence! Conference is planned to be held in Augusta, Georgia, June 18-20, 2026 (Arrive 6/17/26 for registration and preconference activities; check out 6/21/26). The Youth Headquarters is the Marriott Hotel Convention Center, 2 Tenth Street (1-888-236-2427). For online reservation click: Book your group rate for AEAONMS, Imperial Youth Department, IMYD.
Group code: AEAONMS. Cost: $159 plus tax and fees. General Parking: $7 per day. Reservation deadline 6/4/26. Augusta provides rich African American history that ties in with our theme and allows us to explore the impact of HBCUs, technical schools, as well as our shared history of resilience and achievement. Through workshops, panels, and hands-on activities, we’ll inspire today’s youth to build on the foundation of excellence laid by those who came before them, while empowering them to pursue their own paths to success in education and beyond.

Note: Associate youth club members are allowed to attend conference however they are not allowed to participate in
competitions, they must be a member of the local Youth Club 6 months prior to Conference.
Prizes and Awards Guidance
Possible prizes and awards consist of trophies, certificates, gift cards, monies, trinkets, and bragging rights. These are based on the availability of resources.
Units are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times and take much delight in their winning positions. You must be an official PHA IYD Youth Club to compete. Refer to the IYD Handbook for details.

Competitions and Talent Show Special Notes
All groups who are competing must check in at the Activities Check-in Station at the Youth Headquarters. In addition, submit your Club's performance music on a thumb-drive at the station as well. Teams can participate in a maximum of 5 unit competitions.
